Provincial Minister Alleges PTI Founder Receives VIP Treatment in Jail, Criticizes Special Privileges

Uzma Bukhari, the Provisional Information Minister of Punjab, has criticized the founder of PTI for receiving VIP treatment in jail.

She alleged that special privileges are being afforded to him, including exclusive use of six cells stocked with almonds, pistachios, cashews, coffee, and chicken. According to Bukhari, over the past 8 months, the founder of PTI has met with 288 individuals, with family and lawyers visiting him thrice weekly, whereas Nawaz Sharif, she claims, was permitted only one weekly meeting on Thursdays.

Bukhari further asserted that both the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi are enjoying all the amenities typically provided to VVIPs. She emphasized that her party does not endorse retaliatory politics, contrasting it with Nawaz Sharif’s alleged claim of installing two air conditioners without personal interest in such matters.

Additionally, she disclosed that the founder of PTI and his wife are incarcerated due to their respective criminal charges.
