On Friday, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif formally handed over the vehicles they received as gifts from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Toshakhana.
During his visit to Pakistan, President Erdoğan had gifted electric vehicles to both President Zardari and Prime Minister Sharif, which were subsequently transferred to the Toshakhana.
The prime minister had already handed over his gift vehicle to the Toshakhana the previous day, as confirmed by the Cabinet Secretariat. President Zardari followed suit, handing over the vehicle he received from the Turkish President.
Earlier, during his visit, President Erdoğan presented an electric vehicle, manufactured in Turkey, to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as a gesture of goodwill. The prime minister, along with President Erdoğan, took the car for a drive, highlighting the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
