PM’s Ehsaan as he visits Ehsaas Prgm Beneficiaries: IK makes surprise visit to Isb ‘without protocol’

Following his footsteps, “Others should put an end to VIP culture in the same manner”.

“Without any security and protocol” the country’s Prime Minister paid a surprise visit to different public places in the capital on Sunday, his office declared.

The premier visited to inspect the business activities, implementation of Covid-19 standard operating procedures, and development works, Radio Pakistan reported.

The Prime Minister’s Office and lawmakers shared PM’s pictures and videos where Prime Minister Imran is driving himself to different areas and talking to people.

He visited the modular carts placed under the Ehsaas programme’s Rerhi Baan initiative in G-11 Markaz and inquired vendors about their business and instructed them to adhere to the SOPs.

He also showed up at the sewerage plant in sector I-9 and the under-construction Korang Cricket Ground, where he was given a briefing about the project. He further inspected the stone lining of stormwater drains.

PTI Senator Faisal Javed Khan and Capital Development Authority Chairman Amer Ahmed Ali accompanied Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Senator Khan boasted on Twitter saying Prime Minister Imran while driving today had “stopped at every signal” and waited for the traffic light to turn green.

While highlighting how the Nation’s PM went out without protocol, he said that “Others should put an end to VIP culture in the same manner.”

Imran Khan’s speeches before coming into power were bursting with opposing VIP movements and security protocols. After being elected the Prime Minister, he launched a campaign to adopt ‘austerity’ and lead a simple lifestyle.
