Office timings
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has adjusted the office timings of its offices situated in the capital city of Islamabad.
This modification has been formally announced through a notification released earlier today. It aims to enhance productivity and align with international norms.
Effective immediately, all federal government offices in Islamabad will conform to the newly revised office timings.

This revised schedule will be applicable from Monday to Friday, with federal offices commencing operations at 8:30 AM and concluding at 4:30 PM.
This change marks a departure from the previous working hours, which were from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. New working hours schedule has been introduced to cater to the requirements of both government employees and the public.
Additionally, in line with the adjusted office hours, employees will now be entitled to a 30-minute break for lunch and prayer, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
Supreme Court resumes hearing of Bahria Town case
Meanwhile,
he Supreme Court of Pakistan is set to resume today the hearing of the Bahria Town implementation case.
A three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa is hearing the case. Other members of the bench are Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Athar Minullah.
Last week, the apex court served notices to the attorney general, NAB chairman, and Sindh advocate general in this case.
This case could be a big blow to PTI chairman Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi who are facing allegations of receiving hundreds of kanal of land and diamonds from Bahria Town against an adjustment of 190 million pounds.
As per the Supreme Court’s directive, Bahria Town was required to make a specific deposit. It also included a recovery of 190 million pounds from the UK.
