Lahore-Islamabad Motorway Closed For Traffic Amid Dense Fog

ISLAMABAD: The National Highways and Motorways Police have closed the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway for traffic because of dense fog.

The NHMP said that the closure of Motorways for all types of traffic will end possibility of fatal accidents.

The Motorways authorities also said that Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot Motorways have also been closed as a thick fog has enveloped most of the areas of the motorways to avoid accidents.

The motorway officials have asked the drivers to use headlights and fog lights of the vehicles in foggy areas and drive the vehicles at a slow speed.

According to the Meteorological Department, the fog will continue to prevail in different parts of the country for the next few days.
