Islamabad police takes into custody four key suspects of tourists harassment at Shakarparian

With the help of NADRA, Islamabad police have identified four key suspects and arrested them

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have rounded up four primary suspects involved in harassment of foreign female tourists at Shakarparian resort.

Three foreign tourists, including two women, were harassed at Shakarparian on August 14 and a video of the incident went viral on social media.

The case pertaining to harassment of foreign tourists was registered at Abpara police station.

Islamabad police sent video to NADRA and apprehended four main suspects in the case on Tuesday.

The police have also seized video clips which the harassers had recorded and posted on social media.

Notably, the suspects appearing in videos of the vile act are being identified with the help of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
