ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Cambodia Zaheeruddin Babar Thaheem called on President Arif Alvi at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.
The president congratulated Thaheem on his appointment as ambassador to Cambodia and discussed matters of bilateral relations with him.
Alvi observed that Pakistan valued its relations with Cambodia and wanted to further strengthen them.
He urged the trade bodies to benefit from the business-friendly policies of Pakistan adding that the country had numerous investment opportunities in agriculture, IT, telecommunication, energy, tourism and other sectors.
