A Judicial Magistrate in Bannu has issued arrest warrants for Humayun Dilawar, Special Judge of the FIA Court Islamabad, along with his brother Sadiq Dilawar and father Dilawar Khan, in a case involving the illegal occupation of government land.
The Anti-Corruption Department secured the arrest warrants, accusing the three of fraudulently registering government land in their names through a court decision. They allegedly included the land in a housing society, causing the government to lose millions of rupees.
Musaddiq Abbasi, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Anti-Corruption, stated that Judge Humayun Dilawar, his brother, and his father are involved in creating fake land documents and committing fraud.
He claimed that Judge Dilawar had illegally registered land worth Rs2.5 billion in his and his brother’s names, and evidence has been gathered to support these allegations.
Abbasi also revealed that the case against Judge Dilawar has been forwarded to the Chief Justice and Registrar of the Islamabad High Court, and a formal complaint has been filed with the Supreme Judicial Council.
