Bakery Employee Faces Backlash After Heckling Justice Qazi Faez Isa

A video featuring Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, has recently gone viral on social media, capturing an incident in which a bakery employee in Islamabad allegedly verbally abused him while he was making a purchase.

The incident has stirred significant controversy, with rumors circulating online about the fate of the employee and the bakery’s status.

The video shows Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his family visiting a bakery in Islamabad’s Blue Area. As they placed an order, the bakery employee, who is suspected of filming the video, asked the Chief Justice to confirm his identity.

Upon learning that the customer was indeed Justice Isa, the employee allegedly responded with rude and abusive behavior. The video quickly gained traction, fueling speculation about what happened next.

Following the incident, rumors spread on social media claiming that the employee had gone missing and that the bakery was shut down. These claims, however, were soon addressed by both the bakery and external sources.

The bakery company issued a public statement condemning the employee’s actions. According to the statement, the abusive behavior was an isolated incident and did not reflect the company’s values.

The company stressed that the employee’s misconduct was a personal act, not aligned with their policy, and that they were taking steps to address the situation.

“We are aware of a video circulating on social media where an employee refused service to a customer. This action was an individual decision and does not reflect our company’s values,” the statement read.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to providing equal service to all customers, regardless of their political, religious, or personal beliefs.

It emphasized that no customer should be denied service based on personal opinions and that retraining of employees had been initiated to prevent such incidents in the future.

The company also clarified rumors about the bakery’s closure, stating that all branches remained open and operational, contrary to reports circulating on social media.

As for the bakery employee involved in the incident, reports from the BBC suggest that he has not returned to work since the episode. However, company sources confirmed that the employee had not been terminated, and to their knowledge, he had not been arrested or detained by the authorities.

While the exact whereabouts of the employee remain unknown, there is no evidence to support claims that he is missing or in police custody.

The incident, which reportedly occurred in early August, continues to be a subject of discussion online, with many users expressing varying opinions on the matter.

However, both the bakery and Justice Isa’s family have refrained from making further public comments, leaving much of the speculation surrounding the employee’s situation unanswered.
