AJK resident gifts his 50,000 kanals of land to PML-N SVP Maryam Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: A resident of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has gifted his entire land to PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz.
Zahid Hussain, a resident of Rawalakot AJK, has gifted all the land he owns to Maryam through a stamp paper/a legal deed, titled “bequest to Maryam Nawaz”.
Maryam Nawaz, senior vice-president of PML-N.
He said, “I Zahid Hussain s/o Wilayat Hussain, in my complete senses, without any compulsion/pressure, and with my own will, handing down all the lands I own, be it 50,000 kanal/or 32,000 kanal, to Maryam Nawaz, daughter of Nawaz Sharif.”
Zahid Hussain posted this stamp paper on Twitter to make public his decision which stunned Maryam Nawaz and many other people in the country.
PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has expressed surprise over this development.
She said, “OMG! Why would he do that? It is very touching though.”
Maryam Nawaz reshared the tweet on her official account. She, nonetheless, wondered why would a person do such a thing.
“OMG! Why would he do that? It is very touching though,” Maryam wrote on Twitter.
AJK resident Zahid Hussain had stated in the affidavit that it was up to Maryam’s power that she builds a hospital on the bequeathed land or utilizes the land for any other welfare project.
Moreover, the affidavit stated that the PML-N leader was now the owner of the property, excluding 50 kanals which is the inheritance of Zahid Hussain’s children and other heirs, in the life of Mazhar (possibly an heir of Hussain). According to the affidavit, Maryam will be the owner of 100% of the property, excluding the same as above, after the death of Mazhar.
The document included other details and the location of the property in Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
