If elevated to the apex court, she is to remain the judge of the Supreme Court until March 2031. The current sanctioned strength of the court is complete with 17 judges so Justice Malik will fill the vacancy when Justice Mushir Alam reaches superannuation on August 17.
Feeling overwhelmed as Justice Ayesha Malik is elevated to Supreme Court of Pakistan. Another glass ceiling broken and what a phenomenal mind to be a part of apex court! Great news for all the women of Pakistan!
