Undocumented Migrants
With just over a week remaining before the government’s deadline expires, a crackdown against illegal refugees is taking place throughout Pakistan. On Sunday, reports confirmed the arrest of 16 illegal Afghan refugees in Quetta.
According to police sources, the city has witnessed the filing of 52 cases under the Foreign Act. Thus far, a total of 270 undocumented migrants have been apprehended in the city and subsequently repatriated across the border.
The federal government has set October 31 as the deadline for illegal refugees to depart the country. Failing to comply with this directive will result in expulsion and the confiscation of their assets.
This nationwide effort to address the issue of illegal refugees underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring that immigration laws are adhered to and that individuals residing in the country are doing so legally. It also sends a clear message that violations will not be tolerated beyond the established deadline.

Moreover,
At the Cairo Summit for Peace, Arab leaders rejected the forced dispossession of the Palestinian people and called for international pressure to halt Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated that force should not be employed to remove Palestinians from their land, stating, “We will never accept relocation, we will remain on our land whatever the challenges.”
Jordan’s King Abdullah also strongly denounced forced dispossession as a ‘war crime’ and criticized the international community’s silence on Israel’s attacks against Gaza, saying, “The message the Arab world is hearing is that Palestinian lives matter less than Israeli ones.”
