Kazim accused of killing senior army officers, attacking convoys, and targeting security forces across Kurram district.
Rs100 Million Bounty Announced for Most-Wanted TTP Commander
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has officially announced a bounty of Rs100 million on the head of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Kazim. This marks one of the largest rewards ever placed on a militant in the region. Kazim, a resident of Kurram district, is considered one of the most dangerous and wanted terrorists by Pakistani security agencies.
Authorities have released a clear, recent photograph of Kazim to assist the public and security agencies in identifying and locating him. This is the first time such a photo has been made available. According to official sources, the photograph may help in tracking down the fugitive, who has been evading capture for several years.
Commander Kazim Accused in Deadly Attacks on Army and Civilians
Commander Kazim has been linked to the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Arif and Major Tayyab Rahat, senior officers in the Pakistan Army. He is also wanted for organizing multiple deadly ambushes on military convoys traveling to Parachinar. In addition to targeting army personnel, Kazim has allegedly attacked passenger vehicles carrying Shia pilgrims, further escalating sectarian tensions in the region.
Security officials state that Kazim has also plotted an assassination attempt on Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud. His actions have endangered not only government officials but also civilians. The militant is believed to have orchestrated attacks against the army, police, Frontier Corps, and other law enforcement personnel.
The announcement of the bounty is part of a renewed effort by the KP government to eliminate terrorism and bring notorious militants to justice. Citizens with credible information are urged to come forward, with full assurance of protection.
