Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has unveiled the Police Martyrs Package 2025, a major initiative to honor the sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives for the safety and sovereignty of Pakistan. The new package significantly increases financial support and introduces land allocations for the families of fallen officers.
Financial Assistance and Plot Allocation
Under the 2025 package, families of police martyrs from the rank of constable to inspector will now receive Rs 11 million in cash compensation. Additionally, the families of constables and head constables will be allotted five marla residential plots, while the families of assistant sub-inspectors (ASI), sub-inspectors (SI), and inspectors will receive seven marla plots.
For senior officers, the compensation is higher. The families of martyred deputy superintendents of police (DSP) and assistant superintendents of police (ASP) will be provided Rs 16 million in cash and a 10 marla plot. Meanwhile, families of senior police officials, including SP, SSP, DIG, AIG, and IG, will receive Rs 21 million and a one kanal plot.
Increase in Compensation Over the Years
The Chief Minister’s spokesperson highlighted that the compensation package has seen a steady increase over time. In 2017, the police martyrs’ compensation stood at Rs 10 million. The amount has now been more than doubled to Rs 21 million in 2025, reflecting the government’s commitment to supporting the families of fallen heroes.
Distribution of Allotment Letters
During the ceremony, allotment letters for residential plots were handed over to the families of five police martyrs. The Chief Minister emphasized that both cash and land packages were being distributed immediately to ensure families receive timely support.

The ceremony, attended by senior government officials and relatives of the martyrs, paid tribute to the courage and dedication of police personnel who gave their lives in the line of duty. The government reiterated that this package was not just financial assistance but also a gesture of acknowledgment for the priceless sacrifices made by the martyrs and their families.
