WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA โ Celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo, a globally recognized master colorist and blonding specialist, has died at age 57 after a long battle with colorectal cancer, his husband Adeel Vo-Khan confirmed.
Vo-Khan shared the news on social media, writing that Vo โtook his final breathโ after being diagnosed with cancer in 2018. โUltimately, God decided it was time for our angel on earth to return home,โ he wrote, noting that Vo had exceeded medical expectations for years under the care of physicians at Cedars-Sinai and the Angeles Clinic.
Vo built an international reputation as a hair and beauty icon. He was once named by American Vogue as โthe best blonder in the business.โ Over decades, he cultivated a global clientele through his West Hollywood studio on North Robertson Boulevard, his salon at the Montage Beverly Hills, television appearances, and his work as a global ambassador for major beauty brands such as LโOrรฉal and Schwarzkopf.
