Significant progress has been made in the abduction and murder case of Mustafa Amir in Karachi, with the emergence of a key medical report regarding one of the accused, Armaghan.
The report, dated February 10, was obtained by private News channel and shows that Armaghan was brought to Jinnah Hospital for a medico-legal examination at 3:55 pm, escorted in handcuffs by Inspector Amir Ali. The medical examination confirmed that Armaghan was in stable condition and fully conscious at the time, with normal blood pressure. However, the report also highlighted injuries, including red marks on his hips and signs of blunt force trauma behind his ears and on his elbows.
Case Background
The police have requested the exhumation of Mustafa Amirโs body to conduct a post-mortem and DNA analysis, which they deem essential for further investigation. Mustafa Amir had been missing since January 6, and it is believed that he was murdered by his childhood friends, Armaghan and Shiraz, who later disposed of his body by burning it along with his car.
According to Shiraz, Mustafa and Armaghan had a dispute over a girl on New Yearโs Eve. On January 6, Armaghan allegedly lured Mustafa to his home under false pretenses and killed him. The body was then transported to Hub in Balochistan in the trunk of the car, where the suspects set it on fire. Investigations suggest that both Armaghan and Shiraz were involved in burning the car and disposing of the body.
Ongoing Investigation
In addition to the medical report, police have recovered modern weapons from Armaghanโs residence, prompting the Counter-Terrorism Department to investigate their origin. The AVCC police have also requested the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to help analyze data from a laptop seized from Armaghanโs home.
Furthermore, a chilling audio recording has surfaced, reportedly of Mustafaโs last moments, in which he tells a friend he is heading to Armaghanโs house and suggests that his friend should join him after finishing his work. This recording has raised concerns about the police investigation, as it suggests Mustafa’s friend knew of his whereabouts but did not inform authorities for over a month.
