The start of 2026 has taken an unexpected turn for Punjabi music star Karan Aujla, who is facing serious allegations of infidelity involving his wife, Palak Aujla.
The singer, who has enjoyed soaring popularity since the success of his 2024 hit Tauba Tauba, has come under fire after a US-based singer and actress accused him of hiding his marital status and engaging in an extramarital relationship.
The allegations were made by MS Gori, a member of the Twin Rap Duo Nyx & Nym, who claimed that Karan was romantically involved with her while concealing the fact that he was married. She took to her Instagram account to publicly call out the singer, triggering widespread discussion online.
In a series of Instagram Stories, MS Gori alleged that she was not the only one affected. She claimed that multiple singers and influencers had reached out to her privately, sharing similar experiences and alleging that they were being pressured to remain silent after news of the alleged affair went viral.
“When you speak the truth, people who benefit from silence will get uncomfortable. That’s not our problem,” she wrote in one of her posts. “Too many women have been manipulated, shamed, and publicly rewritten so others could avoid accountability.”
In another update, MS Gori alleged that Karan Aujla’s team has been threatening influencers and attempting to suppress further discussion of the claims. According to her, several individuals contacted her saying they feared speaking publicly due to potential repercussions.
Adding to the controversy, MS Gori announced in her latest Instagram Story that she plans to release a public statement addressing the allegations in detail on the following day.
So far, Karan Aujla has not made any public comment regarding the accusations. The claims have nonetheless sparked intense debate among fans, with social media divided between those demanding accountability and others urging caution until more information is made available.
Karan Aujla married Palak Aujla in March 2023, and the couple has largely kept their personal life private since tying the knot. The current allegations, if addressed publicly, could mark the most serious controversy of the singer’s career to date.
