The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain-thunderstorms with occasional moderate to heavy falls in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Badin, Thatta, and Tharparkar until August 23.

In preparation for further downpours, the Sindh administration and disaster management authorities have been placed on alert.
