ISLAMABAD: A weather system that moved into Karachi from Balochistan following rainfall continues to bring light showers to various parts of the city. The western winds over the region have settled, causing intermittent rain in areas like Gurumandar, PCHS, Saddar, Tariq Road, Surjani Town, North Karachi, and North Nazimabad.
The Meteorological Department attributes the rainfall to the weather system moving from Balochistan, resulting in scattered light showers across Karachi.
Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather forecast for February 18-22, predicting thunderstorms, strong winds, and snowfall in multiple regions of the country. According to the NDMA report, rain and snowfall are expected in the Pothohar region of Punjab, including Murree and Galyat, as well as in upper and northeastern Punjab and Islamabad between February 19-21.
