Irish actress Nicola Coughlan has spearheaded an impressive fundraising campaign, generating approximately ยฃ1.01 million (equivalent to around $1.2 million) for the Palestine Childrenโs Relief Fund (PCRF) through her social media platforms and outreach endeavors.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming response to her fundraiser, Nicola Coughlan took to her Instagram story, acknowledging the generosity of those who contributed and urging continued support for the cause.
According to the PCRF, Coughlan’s initiative garnered donations from an astounding 82,794 contributors, including the actress herself. The outpouring of global solidarity has enabled the organization to deliver vital assistance such as food, water, clothing, medical care, and more to children in the Middle East region.
Coughlan’s unwavering dedication to fundraising and advocacy for the PCRF has garnered widespread acclaim from supporters of the Palestinian cause online.
In an interview with USA Today, Coughlan highlighted her awareness of the ongoing challenges faced by children in Rafah, emphasizing her commitment to using her platform for positive change. She proudly wears the Artists for Ceasefire pin as a symbol of solidarity and acknowledges her privilege in doing so.

She revealed that her father served in the United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation, a peacekeeping force dedicated to establishing peace in the Middle East.
