IRGC Claims Large-Scale Attacks Across Region
Iranโs Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a new wave of strikes on Saturday. The group said it targeted Israeli and US military assets across the region. These actions mark another escalation in the ongoing conflict.
According to the IRGC, naval and aerospace forces carried out the operation. They used advanced missile systems, including Haj Qassem, Khaiber Shikan, and Qadr. Officials claimed the attacks hit key strategic locations in Israel.
Reported targets included Ben Gurion Airport, naval vessels, and sites in Tel Aviv. The IRGC also said drone strikes damaged airport infrastructure. These included control towers, radar systems, and navigation equipment. However, Israeli authorities have not fully confirmed these claims.
At the same time, Iranian media reported strikes on several cities. These included Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, and Kiryat Shmona. Reports suggested the use of multi-warhead missiles in these attacks.
US Military Positions in Gulf Also Targeted
The IRGC claimed it also targeted US-linked military sites in Gulf countries. These included HIMARS rocket systems in Kuwait and Patriot missile batteries in Bahrain. Iranian sources also mentioned strikes on facilities linked to US personnel in the United Arab Emirates.
In response, Kuwait confirmed that several missiles and drones entered its airspace. The Kuwait Ministry of Defence said eight ballistic missiles and 19 drones were intercepted. Officials reported no casualties or damage.
Meanwhile, reports from Bahrain indicated that a commercial vessel at Khalifa bin Salman Port was hit. Iranian sources claimed the ship had Israeli links, although it was sailing under another flag.
These developments show how the conflict is expanding across the Gulf region. As a result, security concerns are rising for multiple countries.
Israel Responds with Alerts and Counter Strikes
Israel reacted quickly to the situation. The Israel Defense Forces issued several alerts within a short time. Authorities warned citizens about incoming missiles and raised the national alert level.
However, Israeli officials have not confirmed all Iranian claims. They continue to assess the situation and monitor incoming threats.
At the same time, Israeli forces carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon. Targets included areas like Kafardounine, Bint Jbeil, and Burj Qalawiya. Strikes also hit the town of Siddiqine in the Tyre district.
The Hezbollah also claimed attacks on Israeli positions. The group said it targeted troop gatherings and military sites, including a location linked to the Golani Brigade near Acre.
In addition, drone strikes were reported near Israeli positions in the Kfarchouba hills. These incidents show that multiple fronts are now active in the conflict.
Overall, tensions continue to rise across the Middle East. Both sides are increasing military actions. As the situation evolves, the risk of wider regional escalation remains high.
