Airstrikes by the United States and Israel have pushed the death toll in Iran past 1,300, with many of the victims reported to be civilians. The strikes have destroyed homes and damaged public buildings across several cities.
One of the latest hits was on Dr. Hafez Khomeini School in Khomein. The school building is badly damaged. Nearby houses took hits as well. Families had to run from the area. People there said the explosion freaked everyone out—especially parents who were terrified for their kids.
Heavy Explosions Rock Tehran
Tehran faced some of the most intense bombardment overnight. Loud explosions echoed across the eastern, southern, and western parts of the capital. Witnesses said the blasts shook buildings and sent people rushing into the streets.
Local reports confirmed that at least 40 people died near Risalat Square, one of Tehran’s busiest areas. Rescue teams reached the site soon after the attack. They searched through damaged buildings and moved the injured to nearby hospitals.
Iran Vows Stronger Retaliation
Meanwhile, the US is straight-up saying their attacks on Iran aren’t stopping anytime soon. Central Command’s out there saying they’re actively going after Iranian missile launchers—hunting them down and blowing them up wherever they pop up, no holding back.
Iran’s hitting back hard too. The Revolutionary Guard just announced they’ve started another round of missile strikes, part of what’s now called “Operation True Promise 4″—they’re up to dozens of waves already in this phase against the US and Israel. And get this: Iranian officials are warning that from here on out, they’re only using the really heavy stuff—missiles with warheads over one ton (that’s 1,000+ kg of explosives). That’s a big step up in destructive power, and they’re making it clear things could get way more intense if the strikes keep coming.
The tension’s through the roof everywhere in the region. A ton of people watching this are saying if diplomacy doesn’t step in quick to stop the cycle, it’s gonna drag in more countries and turn into a full-blown wider disaster. Both sides are locked in, and it feels like it’s getting more dangerous every single day.
