ISLAMABAD: Iran highly appreciates Pakistan’s diplomatic moves to bring peace and stability across region. Iranian Ambassador, Reza Amiri Moqadam, said Tehran fully supports Islamabad’s active role in promoting dialogue and calm.
He described Pakistan’s efforts as “based on goodwill” and aimed at restoring lasting peace. This support from Tehran comes at a critical time, as Pakistan is holding a series of high-level meetings with foreign ministers of Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
It is thought that Pakistan, being a neutral country and enjoying strong relations with both Iran and Gulf countries, is in a position to resolve conflicts in the Middle East.
Overall, the news has raised hopes that a quick resolution to the ongoing war could be achieved through indirect talks brokered by Pakistan.
