Iranโs Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 33rd wave of attacks under its ongoing military campaign, Operation True Promise 4. The latest phase of the operation targeted Israeli and US-linked locations as regional tensions continue to escalate.
According to an official IRGC statement, the newest wave has been named โLabbaik Ya Khamenei,โ referring to Iranโs Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The force claimed that it targeted Tel Aviv using Kheibar Shekan ballistic missiles equipped with one-tonne warheads.
IRGC claims missile strikes on strategic targets
The IRGC stated that the Kheibar Shekan missiles successfully struck their designated targets in Tel Aviv. Officials described the attack as part of a broader military response carried out during the ongoing confrontation in the region.
In addition, the IRGC claimed that the operation also targeted the United States Navyโs Fifth Fleet headquarters. The force said the strikes formed part of its continuing campaign against US and allied military assets.
Furthermore, the IRGC maintained that all missiles launched during the latest wave reached their intended locations. However, independent confirmation of the claims has not yet been provided.
US military outlines scale of operations
Meanwhile, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) released details about its own military operations against Iran over the past 10 days. According to the command, American forces struck more than 5,000 targets during the campaign.
Officials said the strikes focused primarily on locations believed to pose immediate security threats. As a result, more than 50 vessels belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy were either destroyed or severely damaged.
The US military also revealed that the campaign involved several strategic bombers, including the B-1 Lancer, B-2 Spirit, and B-52 Stratofortress. In addition, fighter aircraft such as the F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Super Hornet, F-22 Raptor, and F-35 Lightning II participated in the strikes.
