UAE Rejects Reports Of Visa Restrictions For Pakistanis
ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates today rejected reports of visa restrictions on Pakistanis belonging to certain cities.
In a statement issued today, Bakheet Aateeq Al Remeithi, the Consulate General of the UAE in Karachi said that the reports are totally baseless and fake.

He said the UAE authorities did not impose any visa restrictions on Pakistan as was being speculated on social and digital media in Pakistan.
The UAE Consul General responded to reports that Emirates was not giving visas to Pakistani who belong to Abbottabad, Attock, Bajaur Agency, Chakwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Hunza, Quetta, Kasur, Kohat, Kotli, Khushab, Khurrum Agency, Larkana, Mohmand Agency, Muzaffargarh, Nawabshah, Parachinar, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Skardu and Sukkur.
A poster is being shared in the social media, asking people to not apply if they belong to any of the cities quoted above.
Remeithi said that Pakistani citizens can get visit or any other available UAE visas.
He said that he himself was personally issuing visas to the citizens born/residing in the cities mentioned in the fake posts.
The UAE Consul General said that Pakistanis can get visas for UAE from Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.
He urged the people not to rely on rumors as UAE gives importance to Pakistan and its citizens.
