Russia captures more Donbas villages near important Ukrainian cities

Russia and the United States are exchanging official signals on the issue of American fighters in Ukraine

Russian forces have captured more Donbas villages near important cities of Ukraine. Russians have also intensified attacks on Ukraine as the European Union is considering Ukraine for membership.

According to media reports, Ukrainian President had already stated that Russia would mount attacks on Ukraine after EU’s proposal to include Ukraine under its umbrella.

Meanwhile, Russia and the United States are exchanging official signals on the issue of American fighters in Ukraine, RIA news agency reported quoting Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

Interfax cited him as saying that Moscow did not see Washington’s readiness to deal with the issue seriously.

Last week, Ukraine has received first batch of German weapons for long-range attacks against Russia. A couple of weeks ahead of this development, Russian forces have destroyed a weapons depot of Ukraine, carrying western weapons.
