Puma Energy International and Chishti Group have entered into an extended brand license agreement, granting authorization for the use of the Puma Energy brand and name in Pakistan.
This agreement reflects the growing prominence of the Puma Energy International brand, establishing itself as an attractive fuel retail brand in high-potential growth markets.
It signals Puma Energy International’s confidence in Pakistan’s long-term economic prospects and the ability of Puma Energy Pakistan, under the Chishti Group, to expand and capture a larger market share with quality products and services.
The Chishti Group, managing a retail network branded as Puma Energy Pakistan, currently operates over 600 retail sites nationwide, including more than 50 Puma-branded retail sites. The company aims to extend this network to encompass all key retail sites as part of its strategic growth plans.
As part of their collaboration, the Chishti Group will explore the possibility of powering Puma Energy-branded retail sites with solar energy. Additionally, the company plans to broaden its services by venturing into LPG distribution to consumers through its expanding retail network.
The signing ceremony for the agreement was attended by Puma Energy International CEO Hadi Hallouche and Chishti Group Chairman Amir Chishti. The delegation from Puma Energy International, Trafigura, and Puma Energy Pakistan also met with Pakistan’s Caretaker Federal Minister of Energy, Mr. Muhammad Ali, discussing the country’s future outlook and the group’s commitment to its development.
The Chishti Group’s delegation included Amir Chishti, Fayaz Khan (CEO of Puma Energy Pakistan), Javed Ahmedjee (Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Puma Energy Pakistan), and Kamal Haider (Board Member of Puma Energy Pakistan).
