Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on his inaugural official visit to China since assuming office earlier this year.
In a regular press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning announced that President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhao Leji will hold meetings or engage in discussions with him during his visit.
“The leaders of both nations will engage in extensive discussions concerning China-Pakistan relations and mutual interests, outlining a roadmap for furthering bilateral ties. Apart from Beijing, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Guangdong and Shaanxi,” the statement outlined.
China and Pakistan maintain a steadfast strategic partnership, characterized by enduring friendship.
“Our bond has endured the test of time, remaining steadfast and resolute—akin to Mount Tai,”
“Guided by the leadership of both countries, China and Pakistan have seen increased high-level exchanges, progressing practical cooperation, achieving fruitful outcomes in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and maintaining effective communication and coordination on global and regional matters,” Mao Ning reiterated.
China is committed to collaborating with Pakistan during this visit to advance our enduring strategic partnership and to further fortify the China-Pakistan community with a shared future in this new era.
