Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran that further military action is imminent following what he described as one of Israel’s largest-ever operations, named “Operation Rising Lion.” The campaign has targeted key elements of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
In a series of official statements, Netanyahu outlined that within the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have carried out precision strikes eliminating high-ranking military commanders, top nuclear scientists, a major uranium enrichment facility, and a substantial part of Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal.
He declared, “More is on the way. The regime does not know what hit them—or what will hit them.”
The Israeli leader emphasized that these actions were aimed solely at the Iranian regime’s military and nuclear infrastructure and were not intended to harm the Iranian civilian population.
This aggressive operation comes in response to Iran’s retaliatory strikes earlier in the week, escalating tensions across an already volatile region. Analysts believe the current conflict has reached an unprecedented level, with fears of broader regional implications growing rapidly.
While Netanyahu did not provide detailed figures or evidence to support the claims about the scale of Iran’s losses, he stated that the offensive was necessary to neutralize what he called “immediate threats” to Israeli national security.
The situation continues to evolve rapidly, with both sides exchanging threats and mounting international concern over the possibility of further escalation. Diplomats and observers warn that without urgent efforts toward de-escalation, the region risks plunging into wider conflict.
