Jordan and UAE pace up Gaza humanitarian aid operations

Jordan and the UAE have intensified their humanitarian efforts to assist Gaza during the holy month.

The UAE disclosed on Sunday its completion of the 13th airdrop over inaccessible regions in northern Gaza, delivering 24 tonnes of food and relief supplies, as reported by the Emirates News Agency.

Furthermore, the third Emirati aid vessel departed for the Egyptian port city of Al-Arish, transporting 4,630 tonnes of humanitarian provisions destined for Gaza.

Simultaneously, on Sunday, the Jordanian military launched six humanitarian and food aid airdrops in northern Gaza, according to the Jordan News Agency.

This operation involved the Royal Jordanian Air Force in collaboration with aircraft from Egypt, the US, Germany, and Singapore.

Additionally, the army, alongside the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 25 trucks.

The Jordanian military reaffirmed its dedication to sustaining support operations from Marka Airport in Amman to El Arish International Airport in North Sinai.

These efforts aim to facilitate both airdrops over Gaza and the coordination of ground aid convoys.
