JAKARTA/ISLAMABAD: Thousands of Indonesians adopted a decent manner to denounce the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.
On Monday and Tuesday, thousands of Indonesians came on roads and streets with copies of the Holy Quran.
Sitting side by side, they recited the verses of the Holy Quran publicly to demonstrate their respect and love for their holy book.

Also, it is a loud and clear but peaceful message for those who allowed a man in Sweden to burn a copy of the Holy Quran that earned the ire of Muslims globally.
Meanwhile, Muslims also held peaceful protests in many countries in the world to express their resentment against the intolerable incident of religious hatred in Sweden. The demonstrators demanded action against the desecration of the Holy Quran and an end to Islamophobia.

He said that the Russian government does not allow anyone to desecrate the Holy Quran in the country.

Moreover, Pope Francis urged the people to show respect to a holy book. He said the people must show respect for beliefs of others.
Pope slammed the authorization of the burning of the Quran. He added that such irresponsible acts make him angry.
Meanwhile, he asserted that it is crucial to show respect for any holy book. This is essential to demonstrating respect towards those who hold a belief in it. He expressed his feelings of anger and disgust towards such actions.
This statement is termed the first major comment made by the leader of the Catholic Church regarding the incident of burning Quran copies in Sweden.
He denounced the decision to give permission for burning a copy of Quran. He said it is unacceptable. The freedom of expression should not be utilized as a justification for causing offense to others, he added.
