Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza undertook an official visit to Saudi Arabia to participate in the 8th Pakistan-KSA Joint Military Cooperation Committee (JMCC) meeting.
During his visit, he met with Major General Talal Bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Assistant Minister of Defence, and General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of Saudi Arabia. Their discussions encompassed strategic and security matters, regional developments, and efforts to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation.
The JMCC meeting, co-chaired by General Mirza and General Al-Ruwaili, focused on military training programs, exchange initiatives, and other defence-related collaborations. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening security and military ties.
Saudi military leaders commended the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their contributions in the fight against terrorism.
Upon arrival at the Armed Forces Headquarters, General Mirza was welcomed with a Guard of Honour by a well-prepared military contingent.
