A royal expert has provided insights into the future plans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the Duke of Sussex’s recent actions, indicating that his “Americanisation” is nearing its conclusion.
In recent documentation concerning his non-profit organization Travalyst, Prince Harry has shifted his main residence from the United Kingdom to the United States.
Offering his opinion on the subject, Sean O’Grady, an Associate Editor at The Independent, states that this action can be perceived as “an additional ‘snub’ towards his father, mother-in-law, brother, and sister-in-law, and a clear indication that he is now settled in California permanently.”
He stated that “it’s high time for the UK to give (not completely) an emotional send-off to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.”
He pondered, “It is somewhat poignant to recall the immense goodwill and hopes for their future that were bestowed upon Harry and Meghan during their marriage, which marks its six-year anniversary next month.
Regardless of who may be responsible for the deterioration of their relationship with Britain since, the nation undoubtedly lost something truly exceptional when the Sussexes relocated to North America.”
Regarding their future, he commented, “The transition process doesn’t seem fully concluded yet. It was just recently that he legally altered his last name, as well as his family’s, from Mountbatten-Windsor to Sussex.
A natural progression for the couple would be to adopt the titles of Mr. and Mrs. Sussex. Following that, one might wonder how soon the Duke of Sussex may pursue US citizenship, including obtaining a passport.”
