Elon Musk Pledges $1 Million Daily Giveaway for Petition Signers Ahead of US Election

Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, has pledged to give away $1 million each day until November’s election to individuals who sign his online petition in support of the U.S. Constitution. At a recent Pennsylvania event rallying support for Donald Trump, Musk awarded the first $1 million check to attendee John Dreher, surprising the winner in front of the crowd.

“This was completely unexpected for John,” Musk remarked as he handed over the check.

Musk’s substantial financial backing is aimed at influencing the hotly contested presidential race between Trump and Kamala Harris. His political action committee, America PAC, works to mobilize and register voters in key battleground states, though there are concerns about the group’s ability to reach its targets.

Saturday’s event in Harrisburg marked Musk’s third rally in Pennsylvania in as many days, where he urged early voting and encouraged participants to bring others to the polls. Musk warned that a Harris victory could mark “the last election,” implying dire consequences for the country’s future.

Citing two assassination attempts on Trump, Musk claimed these were signs of the former president’s impact in challenging the status quo. He contrasted this with Harris, suggesting she faces no such threats because she poses no real danger to entrenched powers. “Assassinating a puppet is pointless,” Musk said, echoing comments made in his social media posts.

The petition Musk is circulating affirms support for the First and Second Amendments, with attendees at Saturday’s event required to sign, providing America PAC with voter contact information.

According to federal records, Musk has already contributed at least $75 million to America PAC, making it a key element of Trump’s reelection strategy. As Musk becomes more vocal in his support for Republican causes and Trump, the former president has hinted that, if reelected, he would appoint Musk to lead a government efficiency commission.
