The Assistant Foreign Minister of China, Nong Rong, expressed that cooperation between China and Pakistan, aimed at mutual benefits, will contribute to enhancing the well-being of all Pakistanis, including those residing in Balochistan province.
During a meeting with the Balochistan press corps, the Chinese diplomat characterized the relationship between China and Pakistan as that of unwavering friends who consistently provide support to each other in challenging times and beyond.

He emphasized China’s commitment to advancing the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and its willingness to deepen industrial collaboration with Pakistan, expediting the implementation of projects aimed at improving people’s lives.
Rong highlighted the substantial advancements made at Gwadar Port and encouraged media coverage of these developments. He emphasized the need for establishing a secure and predictable business environment to foster both development and security.
The visiting Balochistan press corps acknowledged the widespread consensus in the country regarding its strong friendship with China. They highlighted the positive impact of projects such as Gwadar Port, road infrastructure, hospitals, and schools, which have improved regional connectivity and created employment opportunities.
They expressed optimism about continued Chinese support for Balochistan’s development and offered to bridge the information gap between Balochistan and China, with the aim of strengthening the relationship between China and Pakistan.
