Bill Gates, Microsoft founder and the co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic while stimulating economic growth.
Prime Minister Imran Khan informed Gates, on Thursday, about Pakistan’s commitment to combat the second wave of coronavirus pandemic through coordinated efforts and smart lockdowns.
The premier conveyed the resolve during his telephonic conversation with Bill Gates where the two sides exchanged views on the COVID-19 situation and polio eradication efforts in the country.
