Safe City Islamabad Teams Up With Sindh Tax Department For Streamlined E-Challan System
In another development, Safe City Islamabad has recently established a connection with the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department, enabling the issuance of electronic traffic violation tickets, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Islamabad police.
This integration was prompted by the discovery of multiple vehicles displaying Sindh number plates that were breaking traffic regulations within the federal capital. Previously, this presented a challenge as their information was not accessible in the Safe City E-Challan system, impeding the issuance of e-challan citations.

According to the police spokesperson, this collaboration with the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department will significantly simplify the process of issuing e-challan tickets to those who violate traffic laws. Additionally, stricter measures have been put in place to address habitual traffic law violators and individuals who fail to settle their e-challan dues.
Citizens now have the convenience of checking their e-challan status on the official website of the Islamabad Capital Police at www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk or by visiting this link: https://ict.islamabadpolice.gov.pk:8081/veri/verify_e_challan.php.
Regarding the payment of fines, individuals can utilize the Jazz Cash mobile app or JS Bank wallet to clear their e-challan penalties. Failure to make payments will result in legal action taken against the defaulters.
