About 13000 Soldiers Of Ukraine Killed In War With Russia
More or less 13,000 soldiers of Ukraine have been killed in battle with Russia which started nine months ago with the Russian invasion in Feb this year.
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated this to share the latest update with the media.
“We have official figures from the top command, and they amount to 12,500 to 13,000 killed,” Podolyak told Ukraine’s Channel 24.
In September, Ukraine’s army started a lightning counterattack against Russia _ as a result of which Ukrainian forces have won swathes of territory in the country.
As the weather has turned more freezing, the most intense clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces are taking place in the eastern region of Donetsk.
On Feb 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, causing unrest throughout the world. Russian invasion has also led to record energy inflation and an increase in the prices of other essential commodities.
The United States-led western countries alliance has slapped sanctions on Russia. Resultantly, the world has been experiencing shocks of price hikes and shortages of many essential consumer items.
