Abdul Aleem Khan meets with Saudi officials to discuss investment agenda

Aleem Khan receives an invitation to the Saudi Arabia Expo on November 25-26. Federal Minister for Investment, Privatization, and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan held an in-depth discussion on ongoing and future Pak-Saudi investment collaborations.

The follow-up meeting featured a detailed conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Ibrahim Al Mubarak, to review potential joint ventures following the recent visit of a Saudi delegation to Pakistan.

During the session, Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed gratitude for the positive feedback from Saudi Minister of Investments Khalid Bin Abdulazir Al Falih regarding the expansion of bilateral investment opportunities.

Both parties discussed the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and areas of mutual interest, agreeing to finalize actionable steps for investment initiatives.

Saudi officials extended an invitation to Minister Abdul Aleem Khan to attend the Saudi Arabia Expo on November 25-26, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing economic ties with Pakistan.

The federal minister pledged full support to facilitate Saudi investments in Pakistan, emphasizing that the investment agenda would focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, along with senior officials, including the Federal Secretary of Commerce and the Secretary of the Privatization Commission, participated in the virtual meeting to provide insights and strengthen the commitment to drive investment results between the two nations.
