During his stay, President Prabowo will hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and meet with President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The discussions will focus on a wide-ranging agenda aimed at further strengthening Pakistan-Indonesia relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation. Key sectors for potential collaboration include trade, investment, defence, health, information technology, climate, education, and culture.
Several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are expected to be signed during the visit, highlighting practical steps toward enhancing bilateral cooperation. The visit is also expected to foster collaboration at regional and global levels, reflecting the shared values and mutual interests that underpin the relationship between Pakistan and Indonesia.
The FO emphasized that the visit will provide an important platform to deepen bilateral ties and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. It will contribute to the continued growth and diversification of the partnership between the two countries, reinforcing their commitment to long-term collaboration across multiple sectors.
Overall, President Prabowo Subianto’s two-day visit symbolizes a renewed commitment to strengthening ties, promoting economic and cultural engagement, and advancing a strategic partnership that benefits both nations. The visit is seen as a key opportunity to enhance cooperation and further solidify the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Indonesia.
