The Indian Army has dismissed reports of cross-border drone activity from Pakistan, stating it has no evidence of any drones entering Indian territory—contradicting claims made by several Indian media outlets.
“The situation on the border remains peaceful and under control,” the Army confirmed, directly challenging the credibility of recent media narratives, including those reported by prominent journalist Barkha Dutt and others who alleged Pakistani drone incursions.
In parallel, Pakistani security officials strongly denied the accusations, describing them as “fabricated and misleading.” They emphasized that no Pakistani drone had crossed the International Border or the Line of Control (LoC).
“Once again, Indian media has become a breeding ground for lies. These false claims serve no purpose other than stoking tensions and spreading propaganda,” Pakistani officials said.
They further pointed out that Pakistan continues to uphold the ceasefire agreement and has demonstrated restraint despite provocations. “In reality, it is Indian drones that have repeatedly violated the ceasefire along the LoC and Working Boundary,” they added.
The latest statements from both sides underscore the ongoing information war between the two neighbors, with conflicting narratives fueling mistrust amid a fragile peace.
