Tel Aviv: The Israeli Army Chief has expressed fears that increased pressure on the ground forces due to multiple fronts might trigger a sudden collapse of the force, as it continues to face troops/ soldier shortage. The IDF chief has asked the government and the Knesset to frame more stringent conscription laws to ensure a steady availability of men and women for the fronts engaged into. It is pertinent to note that the air operations in various engagements have been the only point of strength for the IDF; whereas hand to hand combat situations with a proper EW coverage have precipitated undesirable results for the political and military leadership.
