The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially released the anthem for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, titled Feel the Thrill, capturing the excitement and global spirit of the tournament set to be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.
The two-minute-long soundtrack has been composed by renowned Indian musician Anirudh Ravichander, who described the anthem as a celebration of cricket’s emotional power and its ability to unite fans across borders. The song is designed to reflect the intensity, passion, and shared joy that define the T20 World Cup experience.
“Every cheer, every silence, every heartbeat connects in the same tune when it comes to cricket,” Ravichander said in a statement released by the ICC. He added that the anthem aims to bring global fans together beyond on-field rivalries and celebrate the sport as a shared emotion.
The accompanying music video features montages of iconic moments from past editions of the tournament, highlighting the history and drama of the Men’s T20 World Cup. Among the featured highlights is Pakistan’s historic title triumph in 2009 under the captaincy of Younis Khan, alongside other memorable scenes that have defined the competition over the years.
ICC Chief Executive Officer Sanjog Gupta said the anthem reflects the broader cultural and emotional significance of the ICC’s marquee events. He noted that the Men’s T20 World Cup stands out for its competitiveness, expressive nature, and ability to create lifelong memories for players and fans alike.
Gupta emphasized that Feel the Thrill aspires to bring the tournament’s spirit to life by using music as a universal language to connect fans, celebrate diversity, and transform the 20-team event into a shared global celebration.
The release of the official anthem marks a key milestone in the build-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling and memorable cricketing spectacle across the subcontinent.
