Tehran: The Iranian Foreign Minister has categorically declared that the Strait of Hormuz is closed for the enemies; states involved in aggression against Iran. He was addressing a press conference in the Iranian capital afternoon Thursday. He said that the patterns similar to the June 2025 conflict were apparent again. in June the aggressors asked and pleaded for the Ceasefire. Now the same aggressors are again talking in a similar manner and even asking their allies to join them in what they say opening the strait. He repeated that the strait was open for all , but not for the enemies of Iran. He talked at length about the losses inflicted by IDF and specifically mentioned what he called the loss of the supreme leader, whose circumstances of killing matched with his struggle all over the deceased soul’s life, he noted.
Twitter Text: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the first conflict began earlier in the year when Iranโs adversaries opened with demands for unconditional surrender, yet within 12 days they were asking for an unconditional ceasefire. He argued the same pattern is now repeating. Iranโs enemies mobilized extensive military force at the outset of the current war in an attempt to impose surrender, again beginning their campaign with the same demand. He said that roughly 15 days into the conflict the same actors are now appealing to others for assistance in maintaining security in the Strait of Hormuz. From Iranโs perspective, he said, the strait remains open. He added that it is effectively closed only to enemies and to states involved in the aggression against Iran.
