UHS publishes 2nd selection list for admissions to 32 private medical colleges in Punjab

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has published the second selection list for admissions to 32 private medical colleges across Punjab. The list, which includes candidates selected for 1,744 vacant MBBS seats, is available on the UHS website.

Key Updates

  • The minimum merit for MBBS admissions has decreased by 4.17% in this second selection phase compared to the first phase.
  • Newly admitted candidates must submit their fees and complete the joining process by February 17.
  • Students upgraded to other colleges are required to report to their new institutions before the same deadline. To ease the process, their fees will be transferred from the previous colleges to the newly allotted institutions.

Merit Overview

In the first selection phase announced last week, the minimum merit for MBBS admissions was 79.7343%, recorded at Sahara Medical College, Narowal. The highest closing merit was 92.8939%, achieved by Sharif Medical and Dental College, Lahore. The following colleges had notable closing merits:
