KARACHI: The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has decided to re-conduct the screening test for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2023.
The exam was declared null and void following a review meeting, where it was determined that only a small number of candidates met the 50% passing threshold.
In a subsequent meeting held on August 22, 2024, at the SPSC’s Karachi regional office, the commission discussed the implications of the test results. Concerns were raised that if the results were not annulled, there would be an insufficient number of qualified candidates to proceed to the next stages of the examination process.
The commission has urged all candidates to intensify their preparations for the rescheduled test to meet the required standards.
The initial screening test for the CCE 2023 had attracted a total of 27,060 candidates.
To accommodate this large number of applicants, the SPSC had established examination centers in Karachi, Sukkur, Hyderabad, and Larkana.
