Punjab Launches Health Screening for Special Children

The Punjab government initiated health screening for special children on Friday, marking a significant step in ensuring better care and support for them.

Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Sana Ashiq, officially launched the campaign.

The health screening campuses have been equipped with a team of specialists, including surgeons, opticians, psychologists, and ENT experts, to provide comprehensive care for the children.

On the occasion, Minister Nazir shared, “The health screening for special children has been launched under the directions of the Punjab government.”

Meanwhile, Ashiq highlighted, “Electric wheelchairs and glasses are being provided to special children as part of this initiative.”

Punjab Health Secretary Nadia Saqib was also present at the event, supporting the launch of this crucial program.
