Punjab Board Reveals Schedule for Matric and Intermediate exams
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has finalised the matriculation and intermediate exam schedules for all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) for the academic year 2022-2023. (PBCC).
According to details, the decision was made at a recent PBCC meeting attended by the heads of every BISE in Punjab.
The matric and inter-annual exams will begin on April 1, 2023, and May 20, 2023, respectively.
After a brief delay, the annual exams for classes 9 and 10 were held this year across all BISEs.
Class 9 examinations were held in May/June, while class 10 examinations were held in May.
The annual exams for class 9 began on May 26 and ended on June 10. The results for class 9 were released on September 19.
Final exams for Class 10 began on May 10 and ended on May 25. The results for class 10 were released on August 31.
Separately, the Punjab government announced the winter vacation schedule for all public and private schools in the province.
In this regard, the Punjab School Education Department (SED) announced that all public and private schools in the province would be closed from December 24, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
The schools are scheduled to reopen on January 2, 2023.
