The World Education Medals announced the extraordinary leaders with remarkable contributions to education across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Baela Raza Jamil is the only finalist from Pakistan, shortlisted for the prestigious World Education Medal.
Founded by T4 Education and HP, the award will be given to outstanding individuals who have demonstrated impact, leadership, and advocacy in education. The winner will be announced in October.

She has made a profound impact on the country’s education system and continues to inspire and empower countless individuals through her organizations, Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi and the Sanjan Nagar School, an inclusive IB school, dedicated to transformative and empowering education, especially for girls.
Baela Jamil has led nationwide social movements for early childhood education, girls’ education, and education in emergencies. Her initiatives have reached more than 20 million children and thousands of teachers both within Pakistan and beyond.
She has collaborated closely with governments, international organizations, and local communities to ensure that education is prioritized and accessible to all.
