ISLAMABAD: Dr. Hajra is a well-known figure among her followers for her educational achievements and guidance on CSS exams in 2023. While she has achieved numerous feats in her life, passing the CSS exam on her first attempt was a significant accomplishment.
What makes this achievement even more special is that her husband, Huzaifa Mughal, has also cleared the exam.
The mention of her husband’s name is crucial because when he proposed to her, she expressed her career aspirations, stating that she was in her second year of MBBS. Huzaifa’s response was, “We’ll achieve them together.” Since then, Dr. Hajra has received the Prime Minister Innovation Award, the KPK Innovation Award, 19 essay awards, recognition by the BBC, Dean’s Honors, and Youth Parliamentarian honors, in addition to clearing the CSS exam on her first try.
When the results were announced, Dr. Hajra’s WhatsApp and Instagram inboxes were flooded with messages. She was allocated to the Inland Revenue Services while her husband joined the Police Service of Pakistan.
Reflecting on her achievement during a live session on her YouTube channel, she described it as “a miracle from Allah.” She had prepared for the exam during her house job.
Dr. Hajra attended Army Burn Hall School and College, Abbottabad, for her schooling and completed her MBBS from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad.
In 2018, she was honored with the Youth Innovation Award by the KP government and worked for the welfare of the transgender community and acid survivors under the UNDP.
She established the Ayubian Literary and Arts Forum (ALAF), revived the Karakorum magazine of Ayub Medical College, and founded the Students’ Organization for Counselling, Rehabilitation, Art Therapy, Education, and Support (SOCRATES).
Responding to her followers’ questions about the difficulty of CSS exams, Dr. Hajra admitted that while it was challenging, it required six to seven months of constant preparation, unlike her five years of MBBS which she found comparatively less demanding.
Apart from her professional endeavors, Dr. Hajra runs a social enterprise called the Annon Association, focusing on mental health. In an interview she emphasized her desire to contribute where she could make a difference. Her work with the transgender community and acid burn victims taught her the importance of addressing mental health issues at their root.
She also highlighted the importance of solution-oriented approaches and providing hope to those suffering from mental health issues.
Dr. Hajra encouraged giving space to each other and avoiding toxicity in relationships. She emphasized that constantly reminding someone of their condition without offering a solution can be harmful to their mental well-being.
